Bean has enjoyed a fun and rewarding year of adventure with extensive groundwork and liberty training.

He’s been lightly backed both bitted, bitless and just in a halter, bareback, English saddle and in a treeless Bob Marshall. Very short sessions of a few minutes here and there establishing direction. He leads out over the farm behind my horse or just by himself with no issue leaving the others! He will be incredibly easy to continue with at a pace suitable to his growth.

He is in the very initial stages of his sulky training incorporating long reigning and being fully geared up and lead round the track.

He is super easy to catch, lead, hoof trim, braid, hose and wanders on the float himself just in the paddock, grazes alone, in a herd or with donkeys! He’s learnt some great paddock etiquette from a matriarch gypsy mare who tells him where to be and when!  

I literally haven’t found anything that phases this boy!!!

He is very pretty but is an absolute grub! We have a pond and he is neck deep in it and the mud in a flash! If you leave your door open he will also appear in your kitchen having eaten the cat biscuits on the way through or having sorted your shelves in the garage and even emptied the back of your ute for you. He’s very helpful!

Bean is going to make an extraordinary pony for either a very lucky child or a small adult. He could be a mother daughter/son share with mum able to ‘drive’ him / show him?

This is an opportunity to secure the pony of a lifetime, either now and continue his education yourself or he can stay with me until the end of March 2026 and I will continue his education for you !!! (at no extra cost, but to secure this option you’ll need to pay a nonrefundable 10% deposit and fully insure him)
