She is an absolute stunner. She has arrived with us following having her gorgeous foal.

She is in the very foundational stage of backing. She is very new to all the obstacles and handling here but is trying very hard to please. 

She has a very friendly nature and is prepared to give anything a go. 

I have very lightly backed her bare back, saddle, bitless and bitted.  She has started into long reigning and will be covering a lot of the foundational groundwork and mileage long reigning for the next couple of months. 

She has sas! She will certainly not be sloth mode like the boys! 

It is very early days for Halcyon in her training ...she will be awesome in time ... she has a bit of 'rodeo' in her when she thinks she's had enough :) this is being worked through by a return to  ground work on repeat!

She follows me about and is very loving and curious. She is 'snappy with other horses' around food but grazes well with others. I trim her hooves myself ...she has improved significantly and now with a bit of patience will place each hoof on the hoof jack for me.

She would suit someone who is looking for a bit of 'spirit and beauty' and wants a project over winter to keep progressing her ... the basics are installed and she is very respectful ... I have initiated 'cordeo' and 'bitless'  into her training ...she is working  well with front and hind quarter yeilding, backing up, waiting etc.. and of course our infamous obstacle course.

She will not be sold to just anyone ..for her to be the best she can be she will require and experienced home.

Her pricing reflects (her current state) she is still very much in the training progress of backing..she is at the very beginning of this....she will require  progressing and finishing and you will need to be experienced.

This is a small window of opportunity before i do too much more with her. Her price will increase as her experience and progress increases.

Im of two minds to keep Halcyon for myself and will continue to work with her over winter slowly and appropriately to make a great riding horse.  

If she is still with us in October she has a planned play date with an incredible stallion and will join our mummas to be.
